Gael del Río (Barcelona, 1990) studied Architecture at the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona. She stumbled upon photography in the final stretch of her degree during her exchange year at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.

From that moment on, her personal and professional life turned progressively in that direction, completing her photography studies at IEFC and Grisart.

Nowadays, as well as being professionally dedicated to architectural photography she develops personal projects which have been exhibited in Voies Off Festival (Arles), Fotofever (Paris), KBr Fundación Mapfre (Barcelona), LUMA Arles and Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica (Barcelona), among others.
